great weekend. good people. good music.

whenever i load up the pictures, they show up with the most recent first. i don't really like to invest a lot of time into this blog, so i keep it that way. i'll annotate some pictures so you'll see how the weather was from sf to la to sf.... i miss sunny socal. i kind of can't wait to get back there.... but i'll still miss sf... just not its gloomy, cold summer weather.

yeah... this is when i know i'm back in SF..... fog and its mist on my windshield....

goodbye sun.... it was nice having you around this weekend.... i was dreading the drive back into fog... look at how scary it looks...

it was soooo hot in the valley! my a/c was on full blast and i was still sweating. i was really concerned about getting a sunburn.... when i filled up, the heat smacked me in the face. it wasn't the most pleasant... i was a little irritated when some people were talking loudly to each other at the gas station about the valley's disgusting heat.

people (obviously from out of state) at the gas station in the valley:
lady: wow, it's hot!
man: yeah, this is southern california heat!
me (in my head): wow, losers.... socal has hot weather, but it's not over the 100s.... if you stick to the real socal, it's in the good 70s-80s. we're nowhere close to socal.

*i consider socal to be where the beautiful beaches are... plus the dirty la beaches.... i'm not too sure about santa barbara because they're not exactly socal, but they still have a typical beautiful socal beach.
pink's.... some tourists came out to pink's to get chili dogs... why would you come all the way out here, wait in line for about 45 min-1 hr to merely get those... try something with some flavor!
chili cheese fries (we forgot to get onions, boo!) millennium dog and the ozzy dog.... the millennium dog's now called the mayor's dog, at least out front. it was great. my second time getting that, but the first time finishing all of it. it's perfect for the first half, but the jalapeno dog just starts to become a little too overbearing and masks the great flavors of the guacamole, onions, tomatoes, and chili. i'd still wait in line for that though. i'm thinking of making my own "pink's" dogs. it'll be as good, if not better. who's down?
kid cudi. fun set until he killed everything with the day n nite remix. he hates that remix! what a sell out, but i guess he was pressured into doing what those radio listeners came to see. nevertheless, i found some new artists to listen to. the openers were way better than kid cudi. cudi, stick to mixtapes; you're new stuff sounds forced. i'm glad i saw you still doing good music. you're undergoing your downfall, but i'm dreading the day you actually hit rock bottom. your new album might just lead you to that. let's hope you're great on your tv show.

hello, california burritos! i've missed you butt loads!
greatest carne asada fries i've tried so far. they stayed hot and crisp the whole time! and no beans!
perfect summer day. bulgogi tacos, tri tip asada tacos, hours of swimming and getting a tan! but too bad, i didn't get as much of a tan as i wanted. i'm counting on hawaii to do that for me next month. oooh, can't wait for the food there, too!

my favorite. skinny cow's french vanilla truffle. perfection.
i love breakfast burritos. forever.
i'm stuck on lambrusco. not exactly for the refined, but it's easy on my tastebuds, casual, and easy on my pockets.
i love the shrimp tacos next to the boy's place. thank you, sir!

addicted to these chips. i'm going to try not to buy these for a while. i lose self control with them around.
