i love asia de cuba.

i love going to asia de cuba (favorite restaurant in the city), but i finally went there for lunch today. sooooo full. the fries stayed lightly crisp, which is impressive because so many places have their fries become soggy when they're cold. i also finally got to eat at their "spectacular cross-shape and illuminated communal dining table made entirely of hand-etched Venetian mirror." beautiful table, but maybe i should try it out for dinner when it's illuminated. thing is, i kind of like to eat their food in the redwood room bar area because it's way more lax and you're not surrounded by people on romantic dates.

it was funny today when parisa and i ate there. a party left before we got our food, so we dined by ourselves. private dining. hahaha. jealous, mig?
